This KEBA ((Kinetic Energy Budget of the lower Atmosphere) model calculates the yield from a given number of offshore turbines in the three areas of the German Bight and with different arrangements as described in our publication „Making the most of offshore wind“. The model provides yields with and without reduced wind speeds, as well as several energy diagnostics. The user can adjust underlying assumptions such as turbine specifications and capacity density.
