Agora Energy Transition China (Agora) develops evidence-based and politically viable strategies in support of the ongoing energy transitions towards net-zero pathways in China, Europe and beyond. As China is not only the world's largest carbon emitting economy but also the top clean energy market, the country's energy future is key for global environmental sustainability and climate change. In a world disrupted by multiple crises, Agora aims to work closely with like-minded partners to move China’s clean energy transition agenda forward, and promote international cooperation on pressing energy and climate issues. The task is both challenging and exciting, with numerous opportunities to make meaningful contributions. Your responsibilities include 工作职责

• Conducting in-depth analyses on a variety of topics in China's energy sector in general, and about industrial energy use in particular, regarding energy conservation, emissions abatement, clean technology solutions, industrial policy, and product standards.

深入分析中国能源行业议题，尤其是工业用能、节能减排、清洁技术、工业政策和产品标准等

• Drafting and reviewing research terms of reference, analysis and conclusions, research reports, and policy briefings.

起草工业相关课题与政策研究分析报告，审阅外部研究报告

• Developing and presenting policy and technical recommendations for Chinese and international audiences, partners, and stakeholders.

为中国与国际大众、合作伙伴与利益相关方设计和展示政策及技术建议

• Coordinating with team members on project implementation and output delivery.

与团队成员协调项目执行与成果展示

• Communicating evidence-based research findings to key stakeholders in areas of China's energy transition in general and in regard to industrial energy in particular.

将以事实为依据的研究结果传达 至中国能源转型尤其是工业能源领域的关键利益相关方

• Contributing to Agora's capacity building activities targeting young energy sector professionals in China.

We are looking for 对您的期望

• A Master's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the energy or industrial or related research or consulting sector

硕士或同等学力，至少3年能源或工业的相关领域研究或咨询行业的工作经验

• Strong research and analytical skills in the one of the following topics: iron & steel, petrochemicals, coal chemicals, cement, or hydrogen.

在以下某个领域有较强的研究能力：钢铁、石油化工、煤化工、水泥或氢能

• Good knowledge of energy policies, industrial policies, business models, and clean energy technologies in China.

足够了解中国的能源政策、工业政策、相关商业模式和清洁能源技术

• Good command of Chinese and English (spoken and written), knowledge of German is a plus.

熟练掌握中文和英语（口头和书面），德语技能为加分项

• Work experience in a multi-cultural environment preferred.
