The aim of this paper is to allow decision makers and other stakeholders such as civil society organisations, energy industry, professional organisations, academics and others in South East Europe (SEE) to gain a better understanding of the purpose and expectations regarding the development of National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) and Long-Term Strategies (LTSs). The focus is on providing an overview of EU energy and climate governance.
