Before joining Agora Energiewende in early 2018, Sonja Risteska was the Research and Management Coordinator at Analytica think tank based in Skopje, Macedonia. She has relevant working experience and has conducted in-depth policy research on many energy and environmental matters in Macedonia and the region of South East Europe. Sonja Risteska has authored, co-authored and contributed to more than 30 policy papers, briefs, studies etc. on energy and environmental topics. She holds a BA in Political Science and MA in European Studies.
