Parag Patil worked as a student assistant in the International Energy and Data Modelling Hub at Agora Energiewende. The focus of his work was to engage the International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks (INETTT) for the energy data cooperation and help his team in the data cleaning and data visualization. At the same time, he was a master’s student at Hochschule Nordhausen majoring in Renewable Energy Systems (RES).
Before joining Agora, Parag has worked at Reiner Lemoine Institute (RLI) as an energy modelling intern for six months. He also worked as a working student at Hochschule Nordhausen for a year and a half where the focus of his work was to estimate the potential of rooftop solar PV in one of the islands on Indonesia named Ambon Island.
Parag holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University. He also gained experience working in a manufacturing industry as a research and development engineer for a couple of years.
