Oleksandra Kovalenko joined Agora Energiewende in August 2021 as an Officer Project Controlling. Before joining Agora, Oleksandra worked in the "Digital School" project in an IT consultancy, where she dealt with funding from the German government's Digital Pact. From 2018 to 2020 she worked as a finance and project administrator in the Eastern Partnership unit of the children's charity ChildFund Deutschland e.V. In this role she was responsible for the financial coordination of project activities in Germany and abroad. Oleksandra studied economics and business informatics at the Humboldt University in Berlin and spent a semester abroad at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. During her studies she worked for two years as a student assistant at the Foundation "Remembrance, Responsibility and Future" in the field of action "Commitment to Victims of National Socialism". Oleksandra speaks German, English, Ukrainian and Russian and has a good knowledge of Polish and Swedish.
