Mackenzie Nelson

Mackenzie Nelson works as Facilitator and Process Designer at Agora Think Tanks (Agora Energiewende, Agora Industry and Agora Agriculture).

Prior to joining Agora in 2021, Mackenzie worked as a Researcher and Project Manager at AlgorithmWatch, a Berlin-based digital rights NGO. In her role as Project Manager for the Governing Platforms Project, she liaised with academic and civil society partners to develop policy proposals for the EU Digital Services Act. From 2015 to 2017, Mackenzie worked in transatlantic policy and communications at the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s office in Washington D.C.

Mackenzie holds a B.A. in International Politics and History from Jacobs University Bremen and an M.A. in Public Administration from the Central European University’s School of Public Policy.
