Hai Long Nguyen

Analyst International Energy Data and Modelling

Hai Long Nguyen works as an analyst in the International Energy Data and Modelling Hub of Agora Energiewende. Before joining Agora in 2020, he gained experience working on clean energy and sustainable development in Vietnam for about four years. He worked as an independent energy consultant for different organisations, including Carbon Trust, USAID. He began his career as a Renewable Energy Specialist and Project Coordinator for GreenID, where he contributed to the organisation of the first Renewable Energy Week in Vietnam in 2016. Long has also led and conducted various research studies on clean energy deployment in the country.

Long holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Energy and Environmental Management from Europa Universität Flensburg (Germany) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Renewable Energy from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (Vietnam).
