Before starting at Agora in August 2023, Frank Jordans worked as a correspondent for 11 years with the Associated Press (AP) news agency in Berlin, where he reported on global climate policy and Germany. His focus included Germany’s energy transition (‘Energiewende’) and the annual U.N. climate conferences (COPs). From 2006 to 2012 Frank Jordans was stationed at AP’s bureau in Geneva, where he focused on the U.N.’s humanitarian work, the Human Rights Council and the CERN research center. His journalistic career began in 2002 at a magazine in London before he joined AP as an editor in 2005. Prior to that Frank Jordans studied international politics, social anthropology and journalism in London.
