Eleanor Batilliet

Project Officer Climate-Neutral Industry

As Project Officer at Agora Industry, Eleanor Batilliet focuses on German and European policy for trade instruments and the decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries. Eleanor first joined Agora as a Student Assistant, supporting Agora's international work on climate finance.

Prior to this, Eleanor worked in the field of subnational climate finance at the German development agency (GIZ), as well as sustainable development goals  impact in a Berlin-based think tank. She started her professional career in an EU public affairs consultancy in Brussels, working on transport and trade policies.

Eleanor Batilliet holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Hertie School in Berlin, where she specialised in trade and climate policies, and a bachelor’s in Social and Political Studies from University College London (UCL). She speaks French, English and German.
