Wattsight is a leading provider of analysis and consultancy for European energy markets. Wattsight delivers weather data and forecasts for wind, solar and hydro power as well as price forecasts for the European electricity markets. The forecast horizon span from intraday and day-ahead markets up to several decades in the future and are distributed via an own internet portal and API. These data were used for energy trading and investments. Wattsight is located in Arendal and Oslo (Norway), Berlin (Germany) and Vienna (Austria) and has the largest European power utilities and investment institutions as customers. The majority owner of Wattsight is the Norwegian investment company Arendals Fossekompani ASA.
