The Ministry’s six departments and its approximately 370 staff are responsible for environmental policy, ecology, waste management, industry and business, water and soil, nuclear energy supervision and environmental radioactivity, climate protection, and the energy sector. The efficient use of energy, resources and soils, and the application of modern environmental technologies are the fundamental criteria guiding our actions aimed at maintaining an intact environment, protecting our climate, and safeguarding Baden-Württemberg as an attractive business location. This is an exciting and rewarding task.
