To strengthen our team in Berlin, Germany, we are seeking a:

Assistant Team International – Focus China and Training Programmes

(f/m/d) – full- or part-time – Berlin-based 

Within this role you are supporting two programmes within our International Team.

Are you a person who can motivate yourself, is service-oriented and has an interest in climate protection and clean energy? You also have an interest in people and processes and like to help a team with financial or budget administrative skills, external and internal inquiries, small and large problems? Then we would like to get to know you better.

Your responsibilities include

  • Supporting our China Programme team and projects in budget and grant administration, working both with colleagues in Berlin and Beijing
  • Supporting our EnerTracks Training Programme team and projects in budget and grant administration, and event planning, working with colleagues in Berlin and training participants worldwide
  • Processing of grants including collaboration in the preparation of applications, requests for funds and proofs of use in accordance with the funding guidelines
  • Monitoring of budget planning and cash flow across multiple grants for related projects
  • Scheduling and organisation, preparation, and follow-up of internal and external meetings
  • Travel planning and booking incl. visa matters
  • Optimising existing workflows
  • General administrative and organisational support for Team International

We are looking for a new colleague with

  • Administrative knowledge and skills
  • Several years of professional experience as a team assistant, ideally including experience in financial or budget management or grant accounting
  • A high degree of personal initiative as well as a structured and careful way of working
  • Enjoyment of teamwork and capacity to liaise with both senior and junior colleagues, and to facilitate smooth outcomes among different teams
  • Very confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Fluent Chinese, English and German language all written and spoken
  • A friendly and open manner
