Benjamin J. Kees planed and managed the IT backbone of Agora, advised on IT strategy und cared for the digital wellbeing of the team.
He is an active member of the nonprofit association FIfF (computer scientists for peace and social responsibility) and the professional group "computerscience and ethic" of German Informatics Society (GI).
At Humboldt University of Berlin and University of Havana he studied computerscience and engineering psychology. In his diploma thesis he researched into social impact of automated videosurveillance from a technical, psychological, sociological and juristic perspective.
Before Agora he worked as it administrator at Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy in Berlin and as caseworker for mentally challenged adolescent.
Lately he published an adapted comprehensible version of his diploma thesis as a Book.
